Alright. So, you may have noticed a lack of Purpose Driven Life around here. This was no illusion! There really hasn’t been any. I’m going to go ahead and say, “I’ll come back to that.” For now, I’m pressing on using different tactics.
This week, Ernie gave me some homework: Talk to God three times this week, for 5 minutes each, and write down what He says. Well, I had a conversation with God. I attempted as much as possible to write down exactly the first thing that came to my mind, without editing at all. So, I will leave you now with Conversation #1:
God who are you?
I am the Father.
Whose father are you?
Yours.
What do you want from me?
Love.
Why can’t I give it?
Because you fail to see me.
How can I see you?
Take off the blindfolds.
What are the blindfolds?
Yourself.
How do I take off myself?
By dying.
You mean, kill myself?
NO! Allow yourself to die.
